Truffles are not a commodity you keep in stock. They are perishable treasures that lose their aroma with every passing day. That is why my truffles come directly from my own truffle hunters — and reach your hands just days after being found.

Tuber Macrosporum Vitt.

not currently availableRelatively little known, but unjustly so: a garlic-like scent, delicate warty surface — a secret favourite among connoisseurs.

The white Alba truffle is mainly in season from October to December, the black Périgord truffle in winter. Pippo's main season runs from September to March; the shop closes for summer holidays in August.
